Audit

Internal audits are performed by Government Audit Services. (External Audits are performed by the Auditor General of Canada.) 

The mandate of the branch is to provide internal audit services to all departments in accordance with the approved internal audit plans and, as appropriate, carry out any special tasks or projects requested by the Audit Committee.
