Census 2011 shows strong growth for Yukon

The results are in and Yukon stands out as a leader in growth across Canada.

Of all provinces and territories, Yukon had the highest growth rate between 2006 and 2011 at 11.6%. The recent surge is largely driven by increased migration from other provinces and overseas.

Occupied private dwellings increased by 1,500, or 11.9%, in Yukon between 2006 and 2011.
