Circumpolar North Conference
The Yukon Bureau of Statistics (YBS) hosted an international Circumpolar Statistics Workshop on October 13-15, 2010.
This three-day conference brought together, for the first time, specialists in circumpolar statistics in order to better understand trends and issues as they relate to the North. The conference included delegates from Alberta, Alaska, British Columbia, Greenland, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Quebec and Yukon, as well as academic speakers specializing in Northern Studies.
