Community Youth Activities Projects

In the summer, we provide funding to Beaver Creek, Burwash Landing, Dawson City, Faro, Marsh Lake, Mayo, Mount Lorne and Tagish to support activities for youth.

The criteria are flexible and intended to provide activities for all youth in the communities. Other rural communities are supported through the Summer Leadership Program through the Department of Justice.

Many communities use this funding to support employment opportunities, training for youth to help them become employed or to offer youth programs.
